The PTMX Capsule Filter features a hydrophobic Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane engineered for sterilizing filtration of gases and non-aqueous liquids. With excellent chemical resistance and a high tolerance to aggressive solvents, PTMX capsules are ideally suited for air, gas, and tank vent applications in demanding environments.

Each PTMX filter is integrity tested using the water intrusion method and is validated to exceed 7-log bacterial retention, ensuring consistent and reliable performance in critical process operations.

• Recommended Changeout: 35 psid (2.41 bard)

Sterilization & Cleaning:

• Autoclave: 250 °F (121 °C), 30 min, 25+ cycles
• Inline Steam: 275 °F (135 °C), 30 min, 25+ cycles
• Hot Water: 194 °F (90 °C), 30 min, max 3 psid forward
• Compatible with industry standard chemical sanitizers

Water Intrusion Limits (mL/10 min):

• 0.10 µm – ≤10 (10"), ≤20 (20"), etc.
• 0.22 µm – ≤13 (10"), ≤26 (20"), etc.

Validated Microbial Retention:

• 0.10 µm: Brevundimonas diminuta
• 0.22 µm: Brevundimonas diminuta
• 0.45 µm: Serratia marcescens
