The BTMX Capsule Filter features a single-layer hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane designed for bioburden control in non-aqueous liquids, pressurized gases, and tank vent applications. Its resistance to wetting and broad chemical compatibility make it an ideal solution for challenging gas and solvent filtration processes.

Available in pore sizes from 0.10 to 5.0 µm, the BTMX offers high throughput, long filter life, and reliable protection of sterilizing-grade filters. Each unit is individually water intrusion tested to ensure integrity and is available pre-sterilized for critical applications.

• Max Operating Temp (Water): 110 °F at 30 psid (43 °C at 2.07 bar)

• Forward Pressure Limit: 80 psid

• Reverse Pressure Limit: 50 psid

• Recommended Changeout Pressure: 35 psid

• Bubble Point (Minimum – 60/40 IPA/Water Solution):

  • 0.10 µm: 21 psig (1.45 bar)

  • 0.22 µm: 15 psig (1.03 bar)

  • 0.45 µm: 9 psig (0.62 bar)

  • 1.0 µm: 6 psig (0.41 bar)

  • 3.0 µm: 2 psig (0.14 bar)

  • 5.0 µm: 1 psig (0.07 bar)

Sterilization & Cleaning:

• Autoclavable at 250 °F (121 °C) for 30 minutes, 5+ cycles

• Compatible with standard chemical sanitizers including hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, and sodium hypochlorite
